WATCH: Vikings have two 100-yard return touchdowns

Xavier Rhodes picked off Carson Palmer and ran 100 yards to score a touchdown for the Vikings

Xavier Rhodes and Cordarrelle Patterson each had 100-yard returns for touchdowns in the Minnesota Vikings' win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer was facing 3rd and goal from the Vikings' eight-yard line with 3:23 remaining in the second quarter when he dropped back and sent a pass intended for wide receiver John Brown toward the front left of the end zone.

Instead, Rhodes undercut the pass at the goal line, then began racing down the sideline. His only challenge was by Palmer, who raced toward Rhodes at the Vikings' 45-yard line but wasn't able to keep up.

Rhodes, whose interception was his third of the season, drifted across the middle of the field and began celebrating the touchdown that gave Minnesota a 19-10 lead.

The Vikings' Cordarrelle Patterson ran the length of the pitch to score a touchdown for the Vikings

Patterson, who has returned four kickoffs for a touchdown in his four-year career, then opened the second half by fielding Chandler Catanzaro's second-half kickoff in his own end zone.

He raced around a pile near his own 20-yard line and down the right side, with a block from Kentrell Brothers on Brown springing Patterson free.

Only two players - Tony Jefferson and Catanzaro - remained in the way, and he continued down all alone down the middle of the field before increasing the Vikings' lead to 26-17.
