Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans makes one-handed catch

Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans catches one handed before a big hit from Keanu Neal

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans entered the race for 'Catch of the Year' with this one-handed grab.

It was a tough night for the Buccaneers, who lost 43-28 to the Atlanta Falcons. It was the fourth home defeat this season for Tampa, who are yet to win at the Raymond James Stadium in 2016.

However, the fans were treated to one of the catches of the season from wide receiver Mike Evans. At the end of the third quarter, Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston looked for Evans on the sideline. Forced to adjust for the high ball, Evans pulled the ball in and managed to land with both feet in bounds for a 16-yard gain.

What made the catch even more spectacular is that he kept hold of the ball following a huge hit from Falcons safety Keanu Neal.

The hit was the likely reason Evans was later taken out of the game and put into concussion protocol. He will be evaluated before the team's week 10 home game against the Chicago Bears.
