NFL and Premier League fans get into the Halloween spirit

Football fans in Britain and America got involved in Halloween fancy dress on Monday night

Fans in the Premier League and the NFL united on Monday night, taking the opportunity to embrace Halloween with costumes and masks in stadiums across the globe.

Demons and skeletons were on show around the Bet365 Stadium as Wilfred Bony scored twice in Stoke's 3-1 victory, coming back to haunt his old club Swansea City. The Ivory Coast striker had failed to score in seven matches before the game, but found the net after just three minutes on Monday night.

And in America fans also got creative with their costumes as the Chicago Bears 20-10 beat the Minnesota Vikings in week eight of the NFL. One Vikings fan was dressed as a Wookiee, and several Bears supporters went to the game as grizzlies.
