Following news of the trade of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith to Washington on Tuesday, many have pondered where current Redskins QB Kirk Cousins will end up.
The Denver Broncos have been heavily linked with making a move for Cousins, and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has told Sky Sports while he'd relish the QB's arrival, he's also not sure what that would mean for his own future.
"There's rumours flying around right now that if we do bring in Kirk, the team will have to release at least one of me or Demaryius Thomas," Sanders told Neil Reynolds and Jeff Reinebold.
"My emotions are yes, I want Kirk but, if I'm gone, what does it matter. It will be interesting to see what happens."
