Beth Ecuyer-Dale and Dani McFarlane link up with the black and purple for 2019 to complete their powerful midcourt.

Ecuyer-Dale has re-signed for her second season after climbing through the youth pathway while McFarlane returns after last playing with the franchise in 2013.

Both players will join captain and England player Sasha Corbin, Gabby Marshall, Georgia Lees who moved across from Surrey Storm and Northern Ireland international Michelle Drayne in the midcourt.

Ecuyer-Dale is a dynamic, fast-paced player who made her debut as Maverick #86 during the 2018 season against Sirens. Prior to this, she captained the Mavericks U21s.

“I am very excited to re-sign with Benecos Mavericks for the 2019 season” said Ecuyer-Dale. "Last season was an incredible experience and I’m grateful to be given this opportunity to build on it this year with both new and familiar players.”

Director of netball Kathryn Ratnapala commented: “Beth has worked her way through the U21s with Mavericks and after her first year in the VNSL, she has regained her position with the squad and is growing from strength to strength - developing her game and learning every step of the way.”

Meanwhile, McFarlane who last represented Mavericks from 2011-2013 is also set to make a return to the black and purple. She was a member of the squad who finished third in both 2011 and 2013, and fourth in 2012.
