Golden State coach Steve Kerr's furious reaction to a flagrant foul call earned him an ejection as the Warriors lost to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The defending NBA champions' five-game winning streak was unceremoniously snapped as the Blazers reeled off a 35-12 run in the fourth quarter to roll to a resounding 129-107 victory.
The Warriors were trailing 110-103 with 3:54 left in the game when Draymond Green was called for a flagrant foul on Portland's Zach Collins.
Coach Kerr was incandescent with rage over the decision, slamming his clipboard to the court in protest. He was handed a technical foul.
When he vehemently protested that decision, the officials handed him a second technical foul, resulting in his ejection from the game. Not wanting to be left out, the incident-prone Green picked up a technical for good measure.
With Kerr in the locker room and the Blazers rampant, it took just two more minutes for the Warriors deficit to balloon to 126-103, condemning the champions to their first defeat since January 31.
