LeBron James hammered home a devastating alley-oop dunk en route to his 77th career triple-double as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics in a thrilling finish at the TD Garden.
James recorded 28 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists (all game-high totals) and made a vital three-pointer in the final minute of the game before Rajon Rondo's buzzer-beating 20ft jump shot earned the Lakers a dramatic 129-128 win.
Earlier in the game, James wowed the Boston crowd with a devastating alley-oop finish.
WIth 2:17 left in the second quarter and the Celtics in possession, James stole a Kyrie Irving bounce pass intended for Gordon Hayward who was cutting down the lane.
James took possession and initiated the fast break, streaking upcourt before dishing the ball to team-mate Brandon Ingram.
The young Lakers forward took one dribble and lofted a return alley-oop pass high above the rim that James slammed home with authority.
