Mo Farah showed no sign of rust as he began his preparations to defend his two Olympic gold medals in Rio this summer by winning the Prefontaine Classic 10,000 metres in Oregon.

Farah was competing in his first outdoor track event since sealing victory in the 5,000m and 10,000m at last August's World Championships in Beijing.

And he underlined why he will be the man to beat in Rio after recording his third fastest ever time in the 10,000m at the Eugene Diamond League meeting, clocking 26 minutes and 53.71 seconds.
