Rich Beem gives his take on the incident involving Jon Rahm during the final round of the Irish Open

Rich Beem reviews an impressive win for Jon Rahm at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and looks ahead at the Spaniard's chances at The Open...

It truly seems like the sky is the limit for Jon Rahm right now. He has an all-round sound game and we all know the strength that he possesses.

We know that he is an aggressive putter, and everything else with his game fills in the cracks in between.

The hole-out eagle at the fourth was the beginning of the end for the rest of the field. That was probably one of the best swings I've ever seen and was just perfect from that line.

He wanted to prove a point to himself and the rest of the field that, even with a potential penalty looming over him, he was still in total control and wanted to fight until the bitter end.

It just seems like he has a simple swing and not a whole lot can go wrong with him, so if he can keep his cool then he certainly has the passion to play this game at the top level for a very long time.

It's a massive asset for him to go ahead and get himself out of the comfort zone of the PGA Tour. If would be very easy for him to stay in the United States, live in his house and fly privately around the country.

It'll be interesting to see how much he plays on the European Tour around the world, but I think it can do nothing but help him and his overall game.

The one thing he possesses over the other young players in the game consistency is that his swing is very easy to repeat on a daily basis and the putting stroke is very straightforward.

Rahm seems like a man who knows what he wants to do and goes ahead and does it, so people better watch out because he's coming for them.

He doesn't fail often and the scary thing is that he shot 24 under and still said he didn't have his A-game, so winning can do nothing but help him over the next couple of week.

He's going to go to Royal Birkdale now thinking nothing of making birdie after birdie. He did it in Northern Ireland so why can't he do it there?
