A round up of the bottom six matches of the 2015 Solheim Cup as Team USA pulled off a stunning comeback victory at St..Leon Rot Golf Club in Germany.
Anna Nordqvist beat Stacy Lewis 2&1
Anna Nordqvist put on a spectacular show of golf to see off world No 3 Lewis in what was to be Europe's final point of the afternoon.
The Swede was two up after seven, but Lewis holed an impressive eight-footer on the eighth hole to claw it back to one up and keep this match close.
Another accurate approach shot from Nordqvist gave her a four-foot putt to win the hole and go two up after 10. While Lewis yet again pegged back a hole by the 13th, Nordqvist redoubled her lead after a huge putt on 14.
Lewis looked like she would be able to bring it back after a birdie on 16 saw Nordqvist back to one with two to play, but she gave herself too much to do on the penultimate hole. With almost identical approach shots to the 17th, Lewis wasn't able to sink her birdie and Nordqvist got hers to win the match with one hole to play.
Azahara Munoz lost to Lizette Salas 3&1
A brilliant show from Salas on the back nine ended a yo-yo match that looked for the majority like it could have ended up with a point for either team.
All square for most of this match, it was Munoz that took the first advantage with a birdie on the second hole. It wasn't long before Salas had it back to all square, and it remained that way until the 11th.
Munoz saw her par putt on the 15th agonisingly lip out of the cup and this time Salas did not let her lead slip. A mistake with her driver off the tee on 16 had Munoz in the water, and with Salas safely on the green in two, Munoz was unable to do enough for a half and left Salas two up with two to play.
Salas looked comfortable on the 17th, and Munoz conceded her putt to give Salas a 3&1 victory.
Suzann Pettersen lost to Angela Stanford 2&1
A gritty effort from Pettersen mid round left it looking as though she might be able to win the Solheim Cup for Europe, but three birdies on the trot for Stanford gained her a popular victory for her American team-mates.
After the morning's controversy, Stanford threw her arms up in the air after her win on the first hole, affirming in everyone's minds she saw this as an important win.
Stanford almost doubled her advantage in as many holes as she nearly holed out for eagle on the second, but Pettersen was there to put in an easy birdie putt.
It wasn't long before a string of good putts had Stanford ahead by three on the 10th, but it was on the 11th where Pettersen seemed to be making her comeback.
Pettersen won both the 13th and 14th holes, and it looked increasingly likely that the player who had been at the centre of the morning's controversy could well be the one who sealed a European victory.
Only one hole later it was clear Stanford was not going to let this match go, and a 25-foot putt on the 15th sent her back to one in front. Another birdie came at 16, but a par was enough to win the match on the 17th against the world No 7.
Charley Hull lost to Cristie Kerr 3&2
A five-under-par round for Charley Hull wasn't enough to fend off Cristie Kerr, whose nine-under-par total over just 11 holes was too hard to match for the teenager.
The youngest member of the European team got off to another strong start in this match, going three up after just three holes and she looked likely to add another point to the four she had already attained.
It was a holed chip from the fringe of the green on the fifth hole that started Kerr's run of birdies and a convincing comeback. On the seventh a putt that tentatively made it in the cup reduced Hull's lead to just one, and by the 10th the match was all square.
With three more birdies on the next three holes, Kerr had suddenly and impressively turned around the early deficit to a three-up lead of her own.
A long birdie putt on 15 presented Hull with a chance, but Kerr rolled her own putt in to ensure there was the certainty of at least half a point for the Americans. It was the 16th, where another tap-in birdie chance for Kerr was conceded by Hull to give the Solheim veteran the USA's second last point of the day.
Caroline Hedwall lost to Michelle Wie 6&4
Putting had not been a strong part of Wie's game for the first two days of the Solheim Cup, but she barely missed in this match.
A solid putt on the second hole for Wie put the American one up, but even a birdie on the third from Hedwall wasn't enough to bring it back to level in this match.
More good putting from Wie awaited on the fourth, as she knocked in a 12-footer to go two up. She increased her lead on the fifth, and after yet another good putt on the seventh, Wie was well ahead on four up.
Hedwall looked like she might pull some of the deficit back on the eighth as she hit a shot to 10 feet, before Wie put hers closer to keep her advantage.
A sliver of hope for Hedwall on the 13th presented itself as Wie left her chip shot short of the green. She managed to get one hole back, but it wasn't enough for the Swede to get back into the match and it ended on the 14th with a conceded putt to give Wie a victory of 6&4.
Sandra Gal lost to Paula Creamer 4&3
Creamer secured the Solheim Cup win for the United States team as she proved too strong for Gal in her home country.
While this match started evenly for the first few holes, Creamer had begun to take control by the sixth and Gal was unable to retaliate.
With a win on the sixth hole, Creamer then birdied the seventh to go two up, and by the turn she looked comfortable at three ahead of the German.
Another success on 11 put Creamer four up, and while Gal managed to halve several of the following holes it wasn't enough to pull back any of Creamer's advantage.
While the rest of her team were celebrating on the 17th, Creamer had a very long birdie putt to win the Solheim Cup. She just missed her attempt, but after Gal sent her's sailing further past, she conceded to the American stalwart who celebrated in her victory.
