Augusta National claimed many high-profile victims during the 82nd Masters, with Sergio Garcia, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson all finding difficulties around the course.
Garcia's was, by far, the most notable as his Masters defence effectively ended on the 15th hole on day one, where the unfortunate Spaniard put five consecutive balls in the water before finally holing a great putt for a 13 - equalling the worst score on any hole in the tournament's history.
Woods knows the the course better than anybody, but even he got caught out at the 12th as he found Rae's Creek two days in a row before finding dry land on Saturday and enjoying a self-mocking celebration.
It's extremely rare to see the pros hit an air shot, but that happened to Mickelson on the opening hole of his third round when, after hooking his ball into the trees, he whiffed his initial escape attempt as his club hit a branch on his backswing.
Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson couldn't make the most of his Augusta knowledge when faced with an eagle attempt on the par-five second, as he misjudged his putt as he pushed it in to the bunker.
And, early in the final round, Chez Reavie was in danger of emulating Garcia's unwanted feat at the 15th as the American rinsed two balls, although he did at least manage to avoid a double-figure score ... just.
