WATCH: The 200-yard putt challenge at the Scottish Open

Watch as the pros at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open try to hit the green on the par-three 17th at Castle Stuart, with a putter!

Watch as some of the top players at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open take on the 200-yard par-three 17th hole at Castle Stuart - with a putter!

It may not be the club they'd usually reach for, but that didn't stop a trio of Scottish players finding the green with the shortest club in their bag on the penultimate hole of the Inverness links course.

Marc Warren, Richie Ramsay and Russell Knox are all level par for the 17th hole after three rounds at the Scottish Open, so they may want to rethink club selection when they tee it up for the final round at Castle Stuart on Sunday.

Henrik Stenson and Shane Lowry will definitely be leaving the putter for green-play only, and Andy Sullivan will want to follow suit if he doesn't want to add an extra shot to his score.

Two of the big surprises in this challenge were Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell, who it turns out have a lot more power with their putter than they thought was possible.
