A selection of golfers tell us what they dream about and what gives them nightmares

The average club golfer might have nightmares about topping one off the first tee or missing an 18-inch putt, but what goes through the minds of PGA Tour stars when they're trying to get a good night's sleep?

Sky Sports commentator Wayne Riley quizzed a number of professionals on the subject during this week's Valspar Championship and received a surprising number of honest confessions.

There's Louis Oosthuizen dreaming about a tree in the way of his backswing and Boo Weekley having a nightmare "every time I show up on the course", while Henrik Stenson admitted to a fear of having to play with Radar himself.

Graeme McDowell revealed he lived his nightmare last week, making an eight on one hole at Doral, and Ernie Els hopes his dream of a wayward tee shot hitting his wife on the backside never comes true.

And then there's Padraig Harrington, who finds that eating too much red meat often leads to an interesting dream...
