The tournament was originally scheduled for June 18-21 at Winged Foot Golf Club, New York.

The New York Post says the event will instead take place "later in the summer" but the location will not change, citing sources with knowledge of the USGA's plans.

Winged Foot is closed indefinitely following an executive order issued by New York governor, Andrew Cuomo, that all non-essential businesses should suspend trading immediately.

The USGA already confirmed earlier this month that the first qualifying stage of the US Open would be cancelled, as well as the US Women's Amateur Four-Ball and the US Amateur Four-Ball.
