Dylan Frittelli holes 100-foot putt for eagle at Open de France

Dylan Frittelli holed one of the longest putts of the European Tour season during the Open de France

Dylan Frittelli produced a contender for putt of the season with a monster effort during the third round of the Open de France.

The South African posted a third successive 71 at Le Golf National to slip 10 strokes off 54-hole leader Marcus Kinhult, with the highlight of his eventful round coming at the par-four sixth.

After birdieing two of his opening three holes, Kinhult attacked the driveable sixth green off the tee and finished on the front edge of the huge putting surface.

Left some 100 feet from the pin and aiming to get down in two to pick up another shot, Frittelli gave his putt the perfect line and pace as it dropped in off the left edge of the cup.

The eagle two helped Frittelli reach the turn in 32, only for him to slide down the leaderboard with a quintuple bogey at the par-four 13th.
