WATCH: Paul Dunne claims British Masters title in style with chip-in

Paul Dunne clinches the British Masters title in some style as he chips in for a thrilling birdie on the final hole at Close House.

Paul Dunne sealed victory in the British Masters supported by Sky Sports in style as he chipped in for a birdie on the 18th at Close House.

The 24-year-old Irishman had a two-shot cushion over Rory McIlroy coming down the last after going eight-under for his round with a birdie at the 17th.

He left his tee shot short between two bunkers on the par-three final hole and appeared to still have some work to do in order to wrap up his maiden European Tour victory on his 51st appearance.

Dunne refused to buckle, though, and his delicate chip pitched on the green before rolling right and into the hole, drawing huge cheers from the packed grandstands around the 18th.

The birdie gave Dunne a nine-under-par 61 for his final round and a three-shot success.
