Highlights from the opening round of the Lyoness Open in Austria

Felipe Aguilar fired a seven-under 65 to open up a two-shot lead after the opening round of the Lyoness Open.

The Chilean posted five birdies in a seven-hole stretch at Diamond CC to pull two clear of morning pacesetters Jaco Van Zyl and Johan Carlsson.

Ashley Chesters joined the share of second following a blemish-free 67 as one of the afternoon starters, with English pair Graeme Storm and Oliver Wilson alongside France's Joel Stalter on four under.

Aguilar birdied the first and followed back-to-back gains from the third with further birdies at the sixth and seventh, seeing the two-time European Tour winner reach the turn in 31.

A 20-foot birdie at the 10th was cancelled out by a blemish at the 11th, before Aguilar picked up a shot at the 13th and went inches away from a hole-in-one at the par-three next.

Home favourite Bernd Wiesberger briefly held a share of the early advantage after a run of five birdies in six holes around the turn, only to lose ground by going out of bounds off the fourth tee and double-bogeying the eighth.

The top seed sits in the group on two under which also includes Mike Weir and Y.E Yang, with Matt Wallace and James Morrison part of the tie a further stroke back.

Joost Luiten - the second-highest ranked player in the field - struggled to a one-over 73, while Miguel Angel Jimenez posted an opening-round 75.
