Sergio Garcia made a stunning return to competitive golf with an incredible hole in one on the 17th at The Players Championship.
Click on the video above to see Garcia's amazing ace, the Spaniard becoming only the eighth man to sink their tee shot on 17 at TPC Sawgrass, following in the footsteps of Willy Wilcox who achieved the feat last year.
In truth, before the hole-in-one stunner, Garcia was struggling in his first tournament back since winning The Masters a month ago - approaching the 17th he was three over par.
But Garcia has found success at the 17th before: his 13 birdies on the hole since 2003 are the most on the tour, beating Adam Scott and Martin Kaymer in tied-second with 12.
This time Garcia went one better, his eagle taking him to one over, which is how he finished his round.
"We all know what 17 can do," said Garcia, reflecting on his incredible ace. "I hit a good shot, but it can go there, or it can go three yards past, and suddenly you're looking at a five instead of a hole in one.
"It was nice to see it bounce and then spin back into the hole. I needed it after the start I had - it kind of made quite a poor round into a, not great, but decent one. If I have a good day on Friday, I'll be in good shape. An under-par round will be key.
"The feeling was great to be back out there after the Masters win - media and people congratulating you left, right and centre.
"I was a little bit nervous early on and I felt like I was a little bit up in the clouds, and when I woke up, I was four over par after six holes.
"That didn't help, but then I started hitting better shots, started hitting better putts, and at least we were able to salvage a round there at the end."
