Team golf returns to the regular PGA Tour schedule for the first time in nearly four decades at this week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans, live on Sky Sports.
The tournament's format has been given a significant overhaul for 2017, with the event changing to a new two-man team event containing 160 players.
Henrik Stenson playing alongside Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler teaming up with Jason Day are the pick of the pairings, with this week the first official team event on the PGA Tour since the 1981 Walt Disney World National Team Championship.
Pairs will play foursomes for the opening round and then best ball for the second round, with the lowest 35 teams and ties then progressing through to the weekend.
The teams will then play alternate shot again for Saturday's third round, with the fourball-style format returning for the final round.
13 of the world's top 30 are in action at TPC Louisiana, with team specialist Patrick Reed partnering Patrick Cantlay and Ryder Cup winner Jordan Spieth teaming up with Ryan Palmer.
Tyrrell Hatton forms an all-British duo with Jamie Donaldson and Hideki Matsuyama is plays with Japanese compatriot Hideto Tanihara, while Thomas Pieters lines up with fellow big-hitter Daniel Berger.
