Masters 2017: Bubba Watson sunk two incredible long-range putts in his opening round

Watch as Bubba Watson sinks two sensational putts on Day 1 of The Masters at Augusta National

Bubba Watson wowed the Augusta patrons with two superb long-range putts during his opening round at the Masters.

The two-time Green Jacket winner had a decidedly mixed round, making five bogeys and three birdies to finish on +2.

However, the 38-year-old produced two sensational putts on the back nine to ensure he stayed in touch with those at the top of the leaderboard.

The first came at the 14th, as he sunk a stunning 80-foot effort for birdie that rattled into the centre of the cup.

He followed that up two holes later with another fine putt, this one from close range in comparison at just shy of 40 feet, but with the added complication of having to get ball up and down.

Watson judged it to perfection, getting the ball just up the slope and then watching it roll smoothly down the other side and into the hole.
