Louis Oosthuizen safely booked his place in the final day match play shoot-out at the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth, following a piece of brilliance during his third round.
The South African, who won last year's event when it was known as the Perth International, moved in to a share of third thanks to a five-under 67 at Lake Karrinyup.
Oosthuizen made his rise up the leaderboard at the par-four 13th, where he found the heart of the fairway off the tee before seeing his 115-yard approach take a couple of bounces and drop in for eagle.
The world No 25, the top seed left in the draw after Alex Noren missed the cut, will now face a last-16 meeting against either Johannes Veerman or Daniel Fox on Sunday.
