Scott Brown wins a BMW with a hole-in-one at the CIMB Classic

Watch Scott Brown's hole-in-one at the 15th hole of the CIMB Classic in Malaysia

Scott Brown lies six shots off the pace after the opening round of the CIMB Classic, but left the Kuala Lumpur G&CC in style thanks to a memorable tee shot at the par-three 15th hole.

Despite a long water hazard and tricky bunker protecting the green, Brown had no problems drilling his tee-shot to within 10 feet of the pin before taking a couple of bounces and rattling in off the flag.

The ace not only parachuted Brown up the leaderboard, but also saw the American drive off in a brand-new BMW i8 electric sports car.

"It was 186 to the hole, which was kind of a weird number for me," Brown said. "I was kind of right in between a six-iron and seven-iron and chose to go six-iron.

"I took a little off of it and it never left the flag. It hit probably 10 feet short and rolled right in."

It's not the first time Brown has drained a tee shot on the PGA Tour this year, with the 32-year-old also posting an ace when playing alongside Tiger Woods back at August's Wyndham Championship.
