Nearly a week on from the United States denying Europe a third straight Solheim Cup victory, the incident late on in the fourballs match involving Suzann Pettersen, Charley Hull, Brittany Lincicome and Alison Lee continues to cause debate.
Suzann Pettersen has been portrayed in a villainous light by the visiting team after the 34-year-old refused to concede Lee's 'gimme' putt before she scooped up her ball, giving Europe the hole and eventually a two-up victory.
Fired-up as a result of the incident, the Americans dominated the Sunday singles to overturn a 10-6 deficit and claim a narrow 14.5-13.5 victory.
Although Pettersen initially defended her actions, the Solheim Cup star apologised on social media the next day for 'letting her team down'.
