A debut goal from Cameron Lancaster helped Stevenage to their first away win of the season as they won 3-2 at AFC Wimbledon.
The home side had taken the lead when Matt Tubbs slid the ball home from eight yards out in the 34th minute, following great work from Kevin Sainte-Luce on the right. Stevenage struck back just before half time when Dons goakeeper James Shea could only tip a fine Simon Walton free-kick onto the bar and Dean Wells was there to head in the rebound. The visitors started the second half brightest and went ahead in bizarre fashion in the 58th minute. Lancaster, signed on a free transfer from Spurs, put in a deep cross from the left which eluded everyone - including Shea - and found the back of the net. Stevenage then put the game beyond doubt when Jerome Okimo was allowed too much space on the left and his cross was headed home by Charlie Lee. Substitute Adebayo Azeez pulled back a consolation for the Dons four minutes into added time, but Stevenage had done enough.Lancaster sees off Wimbledon
