Wimbledon v Northampton preview

Team news ahead of Tuesday's League Two clash between Wimbledon and Northampton at the the Cherry Red Records Fans' Stadium.

Dons manager Terry Brown is without midfielder Ricky Wellard for the game. Wellard was sent off in the closing moments of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Aldershot for a second yellow card, with Rashid Yussuff and Kieran Djilali pushing for starts as Wellard's replacement. Sammy Moore, forced off the field at half-time at Aldershot with concussion, and Jamie Stuart, who suffered a deep cut to his forehead, are doubtful. Striker Charles Ademeno could be a last-minute inclusion after making a rapid recovery from his ankle injury. Mat Mitchell-King is still on the sidelines after his ankle injury flared up again and fellow defender Fraser Franks is recovering from a long-term knee injury. Cobblers defender Byron Webster has been ruled out for around six weeks ahead of the trip. Manager Gary Johnson has revealed that Webster suffered a broken metatarsal during the goalless home draw against Torquay on Saturday. "We were hoping it wasn't a break but unfortunately it is and he is probably going to be out for about six weeks," said Johnson. "We will have to wait for it to heal but I think we're quite well covered in that area. It's good we signed Ashley Westwood and have still got John Johnson and Ben Tozer who can play there if we need them to." Arron Davies is nursing a hamstring problem following the game against the Gulls and the midfielder is a doubt ahead of the trip to London. Johnson added: "Arron felt his hamstring on Saturday and we will make a late decision on him for Tuesday night."
