Shrewsbury beat Dagenham 5-0 to reach the southern area semi-final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Holt, Leslie, Walker and Coughlan on target for Shrews
Two goals from Grant Holt set Shrewsbury on the way to the southern area semi-final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy as they brushed aside Dagenham 5-0.
Holt, who bagged five in the 7-0 win over Wycombe in the last round, got the ball rolling in the 13th minute when a stuffed back pass by Magnus Okuonghae let him in to side-foot calmly past Tony Roberts after 13 minutes.
Steve Leslie scored from close range after Chris Humphrey chased a lost cause to cross from the byline and Humphrey laid on two more with pinpoint centres to Holt on the stroke of half-time and Richard Walker after 69 minutes.
Shrewsbury, without their outstanding skipper Ben Davies who entered hospital on Tuesday for a hernia operation, were so much in charge they substituted Holt and Humphrey midway through the second half before adding a fifth through Graham Coughlan 10 minutes from the end.
