Eusebio has resigned as Girona head coach following their relegation from La Liga.
The 55-year-old was appointed at the beginning of the season but will not see out the final year of his contract.
Girona spent most of the campaign out of the relegation zone, but nine defeats in their last 10 matches saw them finish 18th.
Their fate was sealed with a 2-1 home defeat to Levante, after which Eusebio cried in his press conference.
A Girona statement read: "Girona wants to thank the involvement and commitment that both Eusebio and his technical staff have shown at all times, despite the fact that the objective of permanence has not been achieved, and wishes you all the luck in your future."
Eusebio worked as an assistant to Pep Guardiola during his time as manager at Barcelona, and has also worked as head coach at Celta Vigo and Real Socieded.
