AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli is set to return from an injury in Wednesday's Coppa Italia quarter-final against Carpi, according to coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Balotelli, on loan from Premier League side Liverpool, has not played for Milan since a 1-0 defeat to Genoa on September 27 because of a groin injury and underwent surgery in November.
He has appeared in just four games this season, scoring once.
The under-pressure AC Milan manager will be pleased to have the 25-year-old fit for selection for the match, which will be live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 7.55pm.
"Balotelli is available and should be in the squad tomorrow [Wednesday]," said Mihajlovic during Tuesday's press conference.
Mihajlovic added that French winger Jeremy Menez was also nearing a comeback, having yet to feature in Serie A this season due to a back injury.
"I hope that Jeremy will return soon. He could be back playing by the end of January," said Mihajlovic.
