Listen to the Gary Neville Podcast as the Sky Sports pundit reflects on Liverpool's thrilling win at Arsenal and looks back at the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Neville was at the Emirates on Sunday as Liverpool got their season up and running with a 4-3 victory over the Gunners.
He also looked back at Manchester United's 3-1 win at Bournemouth earlier in the day and spoke about his hopes for the season ahead.
Neville, who will be returning for Monday Night Football when Chelsea face West Ham, spoke about Arsene Wenger's position after the result at the Emirates.
"I am sure when Arsene Wenger is not here, there will be a massive amount of admiration for what he has achieved at this football club," he commented. "I would advocate him staying on because it feels like we have new managers every 10 minutes and he is a stalwart.
"You look at what he has achieved - he is the most successful manager in their history."
