Netherlands legend Patrick Kluivert gives his star-studded #One2Eleven on The Fantasy Football Club.

Goalkeeper: Edwin van der Sar

It was an obvious choice really! Van der Sar is an all-round goalkeeper. He can play with the ball and therefore he becomes the 11th footballer in the team. He can also make match-winning saves and that's very important.

Left-back: Paolo Maldini

The AC Milan legend was very good in both defence and attack. He was a superb team player and a great person.

Centre-back: Frank de Boer

I played with Frank in a lot of teams. He's not the quickest but he read the game very well. He was also brilliant on the ball and had a great left foot. He was an amazing player.

Centre-back: Marcel Desailly

We played together at AC Milan but I also played against him in the Champions League. He's a great defender. He's quick, he's strong and also very good in the air. He's solid, real solid and he beat off competition from the Dutch rock, Jaap Stam for a place in this team.

Right-back: Michael Reiziger

We played together at Barcelona, Ajax and the Dutch national team. He was actually a midfielder switched to be a right full-back. He was very quick and difficult to defeat. He was also very strong offensively and had a great character. He was the standout choice for the position.

Central midfield: Pep Guardiola

Pep was an amazing player. He was like the conductor of an orchestra. Barcelona had a lot of ball possession and with a player like Pep Guardiola in the team, he always knew where he wanted to play the ball before he even received the ball. He beat Xavi, who was like the new Guardiola when he came into the team, to the position. Both were incredibly talented players but Pep just gets the nod.

Left midfield: Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho is one of the best players I ever played with at Barcelona. He had everything. He was quick, strong and had great technique. He loved playing football. For all the defensive midfielders coming up against him it was a nightmare. If you pressed him he would turn you and if you stood him up he'd go past you. For me, he was one of the undisputed best midfielders.

Right midfield: Clarence Seedorf

I've gone for Clarence just ahead of Luis Enrique because I grew up with him at Ajax. He was a great player with a great mentality. He was one of the best professionals I saw and also a great human being. A great person, who had a great personality. He was also quick, powerful and had a great strike with his left foot. That's what you need in the game.

Left forward: Rivaldo

I could have gone with Marc Overmars. He was always quicker than everybody who he came up against and I had a good connection with him. However, I'm going with Rivaldo and you don't have to say too much about the Brazilian. Players in that category are just amazing to play with. They are players that help every other member of the side get better. They lift everyone around them and it was just brilliant to play with Rivaldo.

Centre forward: Patrick Kluivert

I have to play in this team! It's a fantasy XI so I have to make room for myself in the side. I will be the No 9 but I'm not going to say anything about myself!

Right forward: Luis Figo

Like Rivaldo, you don't need to give Luis Figo an explanation. He was quick and very good on the ball. The service he gave me was brilliant. It was like making a movement, having eye contact and the ball was there. Luckily I scored the goals!
