Lyle Taylor and Ade Azeez scored as in-form AFC Wimbledon moved to within a point of the Sky Bet League Two play-off places with a 2-1 victory at Barnet.
The pair both struck in the second half at The Hive, prior to Mathew Stevens' late consolation for Barnet, to give Neil Ardley's side their sixth win in seven.
Dons defender Jon Meades saw his early header from George Francomb's corner saved by Bees goalkeeper Jamie Stephens before Andy Barcham rippled the side-netting of Barnet's goal with a dipping half-volley.
Stephens tipped over a powerful drive from Tom Elliott after Elliott Johnson's slip had let the big striker in, while Barnet captain Andy Yiadom saw his low, left-footed shot turned away by visiting keeper Kelle Roos as the first half ended goalless.
Taylor put Wimbledon ahead inside a minute of the restart, racing on to Ryan Sweeney's hopeful long ball and lifting the ball into the bottom left corner to claim his third goal in two games.
Barnet substitute Shaun Batt and Yiadom were both denied equalisers by Roos before the visitors doubled their lead with five minutes remaining.
Francomb broke clear down the right and squared for substitute Azeez to tap home.
Barnet substitute Stevens set up a tense finish by finding the net from close range two minutes later, but the away side held on.
