Banned UEFA president Michel Platini could face further investigation from FIFA's ethics committee after attending an awards ceremony and conference in Dubai on Sunday despite being barred from all football activity.
Platini was handed an eight-year ban from the game by the ethics committee on December 21.
However, the Frenchman attended the Globe Soccer Awards organised by the Dubai Sports Council at the weekend.
He was photographed at the event and also made comments regarding his ban to the Italian media.
FIFA is aware of Platini's presence at the awards evening, but made no comment about whether or not it contravenes his ban.
A FIFA spokesman told Sky Sports News HQ: "In general terms: the investigatory chamber of the ethics committee of FIFA investigates any alleged breach of the ethics code of FIFA."
If Platini is found to be in breach of his suspension, the ethics committee could charge him again, leading to another fine or even an extension of his ban.
There has been no comment from Platini's spokespeople so far.
Platini was banned earlier this month along with FIFA president Sepp Blatter. He is appealing the decision and insists he has done nothing wrong.
The ban relates to a payment of £1.35m made by Blatter's FIFA to Platini in 2011, nine years after he finished working as a consultant to Blatter, who also denies any wrongdoing and has said he will appeal.
