Stevenage have signed Charlie Wakefield on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
The 19-year-old winger, working his way back from a hamstring injury, recently signed a new deal with the Premier League champions until 2019.
"I am overwhelmed," Wakefield said in an interview run on the club's official Twitter page.
"I just want to play for the club and play football. I want to do well for the club."
Stevenage boss Darren Sarll also brought in striker Kyle Wootton.
The forward has joined the League Two side from Scunthorpe on loan until January.
