The United States continued their World Cup preparations with a 2-1 victory over Turkey on Sunday evening.
German-born Fabien Johnson, one of USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann's army of young, dual-citizenship footballers, combined with Michael Bradley to open the scoring with a superb 26th-minute goal.
Former Fulham forward Clint Dempsey exploited a lapse in the Turkish defense to double the USA's lead in the 52nd minute.
Turkey pulled one goal back in the 90th minute with a penalty by Selcuk Inan.
The USA are in World Cup Group G alongwith Germany, Ghana and Portugal.
