Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner will miss the World Cup in Russia due to a groin injury.
The 30-year-old former Arsenal man injured himself playing for current club Rosenborg before joining up with the national team and missed last Saturday's goalless draw against Sweden in Stockholm.
He had been included in Denmark's 27-man provisional squad but is one of four players to miss the final cut, along with Brentford's Andreas Bjelland.
In a video posted on the Danish FA's Twitter page, coach Age Hareide said: "Bendtner stood up and asked if he could say something to the players and wished them good luck with the job in Russia."
Denmark face Mexico on Saturday in their final warm-up match before the tournament. They begin in Group C against Peru, before games against Australia and France.
