Michael O'Halloran responds to Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha's criticism

St Johnstone forward Michael O'Halloran says he does not feel he has been given a chance to prove himself at Rangers.

And the in-form striker has shrugged off the critical remarks recently made by Gers boss Pedro Caixinha, insisting he is fully focused on Saints.

The 26-year-old is back at St Johnstone on loan from Rangers, who he joined in February last year, and Caixinha recently suggested the striker did not have a future at Ibrox.

"He's not my type of player," said Caixinha. "In my opinion, he does not have what you need to play for Rangers."

Despite the current situation, O'Halloran does not regret his move and added: "When a big club comes in, you can't say no

"Obviously, in my time there, I have not played a lot of football, and for me the main thing is I wasn't really given a chance.

"A handful of games here and there, which is disappointing when I look back, but that's football and I am just looking forward now."
