Arsenal duo Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky have both been included in the Czech Republic squad for Euro 2016.

Czech captain Rosicky and Gunners goalkeeper Cech are two of the most experienced names in Pavel Vrba's 23-man squad for the upcoming tournament in France.

Sheffield Wednesday defender Daniel Pudil and Brighton midfielder Jiri Skalak are the only other British-based players to make the squad.

Sparta Prague midfielder Lukas Marecek and Bohemians Prague striker Patrik Schick failed to make the cut.

"These players already knew before the camp," said Vrba.

"They are a hungry team. Many people perhaps don't take our team as seriously as it deserves but I hope in the group stage we will already show the cohesion that is building now at this camp.

"I believe we are capable of making a surprise."
