Juventus playmaker Paul Pogba believes playing under Pep Guardiola could take his game to the next level.

The pair will go head-to-head next week when Juve face Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League.

There has also been speculation that Pogba could leave Turin to join Manchester City, where Guardiola will be managing from next season.

Speaking to Sky in Germany, the 22-year-old said: "Guardiola is a coach with a lot of experience, he has a philosophy which is very important and he has a big impact on the team.

"People respect him. When you see him you want to play and progress. He is an icon of football and I've heard he manages to improve every player he has at his disposal."
