Joe Hart is not a target for Liverpool in this transfer window or the next, according to Sky sources.
The 29-year-old has won two Premier League titles with Manchester City but lost his place as first-choice goalkeeper following the arrival of Pep Guardiola.
Hart is on loan with Italian club Torino but reports have emerged suggesting he hopes to return to England in the summer and sees Liverpool as a possible landing ground.
Any January move for Hart, other than a permanent move to Torino, would see him sidelined for the rest of the campaign as players are limited to two clubs in a season.
The Reds are enjoying a good season and are on the heels of leaders Chelsea in the Premier League title race but their goalkeeping situation is in flux.
German 23-year-old Loris Karius arrived in the summer but lost his place last month after a couple of high-profile errors and Simon Mignolet has been back between the sticks for Liverpool's last four Premier League fixtures.
However, Sky sources report that, despite the goalkeeper uncertainty, the Reds are not planning to try and land Hart at some point this year.
