"Part of it is what becomes available," Moyes added on Saturday. "It will all get ironed out somewhere this week, because obviously we need a goalkeeper."

Time to panic?

As the clock ticks down, it's no surprise the most searched question on Google is 'When does the transfer window close?'

Business typically picks up in the final days and hours, with Deadline Day an important fixture on the football calendar in its own right.

Who's going where?

Wenger under the spotlight

The Arsenal boss, who has been under pressure to add to his squad all summer, is the most searched for manager this transfer season.

"It was a strange market, I expected it to be easier than ever, it has been more difficult than ever," Wenger said last Friday, explaining his club's relative inactivity.

And for supporters eager for additions, it was looking a little tense before Friday, when deals moved forward for Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

The late drama has Wenger top of the pile in terms of Premier League manager searches, but with Perez signed and Mustafi all but agreed, it looks like Arsenal fans can close that Google tab now.

"We don't have any plans for anyone else," the Arsenal manager added on Saturday.

'Is Joe Hart married?'

The Man City goalkeeper is closing on a move to Serie A side Torino, and is currently one of the big talking points on Google in Italy.

Searches in St Albans

The Office of National Statistics ranks St Albans as the UK's 135th largest district by population - sandwiched between Slough and Guildford.

But this leafy area of Hertfordshire, just three miles from Arsenal's London Colney training ground, has entered the fourth-most Google searches for transfer updates in the last 48 hours.

What's prompted this flurry of activity?

It does not take a great deal of detective work to figure out why, with local team Arsenal the most popular Google search among Premier League clubs.

Putting two and two together, it looks like Arsenal supporters just love transfers.

Wolves' transfer fever

Wolves were taken over by Fosun International in July, becoming one of the country's wealthiest clubs overnight.

The China-based conglomerate is owned by China's 17th-richest man, and that has Wolves fans hunting for transfer news.

The Sky Bet Championship club have made 10 signings so far, but this week Wolverhampton jumped up to fifth on Google Trends' list of cities searching for transfer news, an indication their fans will be hoping they're not done yet.
