MLS round-up: Servando Carrasco's header sees Orlando beat New York Red Bulls

Republic of Ireland international Kevin Doyle's first goal of the season wasn't enough to prevent the Colorado Rapids losing 3-1 to Sporting Kansas City.

Servando Carrasco's first-half header was enough for Orlando City to beat the New York Red Bulls 1-0 on Sunday.

Carrasco headed home in the 34th minute as Orlando eventually made some sustained pressure pay.

Bradley Wright-Phillips squandered late chances to level as Orlando hung on for a third win from their opening four fixtures.

Sporting Kansas City found their goalscoring touch in a 3-1 win over the Colorado Rapids.

Scoring more goals in one match than they had in their first four combined, Sporting took control through Seth Sinovic's early strike before second-half goals from Gerso Fernandes and Dominic Dwyer.
