Oxford comfortably booked their place in the third round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win over 10-man Macclesfield at the Kassam Stadium.
Goals from Ryan Taylor, Joe Rothwell and Kane Hemmings saw the Sky Bet League One hosts ease past their Vanarama National League visitors, who had Mitch Hancox sent off, in the second-round replay.
Oxford took the lead 10 minutes in when Taylor rifled into the bottom corner.
United's Alex MacDonald then hit the bar with a 24th-minute free-kick after Rob Hall had been tripped by Hancox, who was booked.
The Macclesfield midfielder received a second yellow a minute before half-time for bringing down Tyler Roberts.
Oxford made the extra man count two minutes after the break as Rothwell played a one-two with Roberts and slotted home his first senior goal.
The offside flag denied Taylor a second but the striker turned provider, setting up Hemmings, who found the bottom corner in the 77th minute.
Macclesfield continued to battle, but did not register a shot on target as Oxford progressed.
