Luis Enrique does not expect an easy ride on Saturday when his Barcelona side take on promoted Alaves at the Nou Camp as they look to continue their 100 per cent start to the La Liga season, live on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports Mix from 7.15pm.

Barcelona have overcome Real Betis and a difficult trip to Athletic Bilbao in their first two games to give themselves the best possible start to their title defence ahead of their second home match of the season, which follows an international break.

Meanwhile, Alaves have started their campaign with two draws, most noticeably their opening day 1-1 stalemate away to Atletico Madrid, following their return to Spain's top-flight for the first time in 10 years.

However, Enrique is adamant it will be a tricky fixture for the hosts.

Speaking at Friday's pre-match press conference, he said: "Alaves have started the season well and have shown they are a tough team to beat.

"They are just coming into the first division with a new coach and new players. They have started the season in an adequate way, not giving up goals like they did in the Vicente Calderon.

"It will be a difficult game and we are only thinking about taking the three points.

"If we look at their football from what I've seen, they will play back in defence and block the spaces, we're going to look at the different phases of the game and be aware of the counter-attack."

The Barcelona head coach announced Andres Iniesta and Jeremy Mathieu have been training with the team this week and could make the matchday squad.

Lionel Messi, who missed Argentina's draw with Venezuela with a groin problem, is also available for Saturday evening's match while Neymar could be in line for his first start after helping Brazil to Olympic gold.

New signing Paco Alcacer could make his debut for the club following his move from Valencia last week.

Barcelona's Lionel Messi showed he can even score blindfolded when he and some of his team-mates took part in a penalty shootout

One player relishing the daunting trip to the Nou Camp is Barcelona B goalkeeper Adrian Ortola who joined Alaves on loan this summer after three seasons at the Spanish champions' second team.

He told Barcelona's official website: "Saturday's match is going to be very special for me, and even though I'm coming as a visitor, I'll remember it forever.

"Barca added some great reinforcements this season. Improving the team is almost impossible because they already have the best players. And on top of that, they added players who are young and with experience."

Ortola will be pushing for his first start for the visitors having sat on the bench in the opening two matches.

Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Katai could be in line for his debut for Alaves after his deadline-day move from Red Star Belgrade while Zouhair Feddal is likely to miss out as he continues his recovery from a sprained left ankle.
