Stoke are set to clinch the signing of Harry Souttar after agreeing a fee with Dundee United for the youngster, Sky sources understand.
The fee for the 17-year-old defender is understood to be £200,000 plus add-ons and the deal also includes a sell-on clause.
The player is believed to have agreed personal terms and the move could be concluded imminently.
Souttar has played just three times for Dundee United's first team, scoring one goal, and is a product of the Tannadice club's youth academy.
The Scotland U-17 international is the younger brother of Hearts defender John Souttar, who left Dundee United for the Jambos on the final day of the January transfer window.
