Marley Watkins has withdrawn from the Wales squad through injury ahead of the crucial World Cup Qualifiers against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland.

The Norwich midfielder has been replaced by Barnsley striker Ryan Hedges in Chris Coleman's squad.

Hedges has been called up to the national side for the first time after scoring twice in 10 appearances for Barnsley this season.

Wales fly out to Tblisi on Wednesday afternoon to face Georgia on Friday. Coleman's squad will then return to Cardiff to take on the Republic of Ireland in their final qualifier on October 9.
