Tom Cairney has pulled out of the Scotland squad through injury.
The Scottish Football Association announced that the Fulham midfielder had withdrawn two days after Alex McLeish named his squad for the double header against Belgium and Albania.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic revealed on Monday that Cairney had turned his ankle against Burnley on Sunday.
The midfielder missed his team's win over Exeter in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday but Jokanovic had been hopeful of him recovering in time to face Brighton this weekend.
However, Scotland will have to make do without Cairney, who has two caps, when they host Belgium in a friendly on September 7 and Albania in their UEFA Nations League opener three days later.
