Scotland were awarded a penalty in their World Cup Qualifier against Malta that even left the commentators perplexed.
Jonathan Caruana was penalised with the scores at 2-1 in Malta, despite getting nowhere near Chris Martin as he slid through on goal, resulting in a red card and a penalty.
Martin did not appeal for the penalty, which was converted by Robert Snodgrass, leaving the ground and commentators confused at Ukrainian referee Evgen Aranovskiy's decision.
Scotland dominated proceedings, however, seeing off their opponents 5-1, thanks to Snodgrass' hat-trick and additional goals from Martin and Steven Fletcher.
Caruana will now miss the Group F fixture at Wembley against England, as will his team-mate and Barnet midfielder Luke Gambin following his dismissal for kicking Snodgrass in the final moments.
