England's U17 side beat Germany 8-1 to end an impressive Croatia Cup campaign with three wins from three games.
Steve Cooper's youngsters put six past the Germans before half-time, following up a 5-0 win over Croatia and a 3-0 success against Greece with the most eye-catching result of the lot.
Rhian Brewster of Liverpool scored twice and there were one each for Chelsea's George McEachran and Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jaden Sancho and Phil Foden of Manchester City, Manchester United's Angel Gomes and Reading's Danny Loader.
The next assignment for the U17s is a trip to Romania this month for the first round of European Championship qualifiers against the hosts, Azerbaijan and Austria.
Cooper told the FA website: "The Germany match is always important because of the nature of the history and it's a big fixture at any level. I know the result went our way, but they're a good team as well with some good players.
"We knew that before we came that there would be some tough tests and it proved that way, so whether we won, lost or drew, the result was going to be us learning from the games.
"Fortunately on this occasion, the learning has come through some positive results and we have scored a few goals but equally pleasing is the fact that we only conceded one goal."
