Ryan Bertrand missed England training on Wednesday but is expected to be fit for the opening game of Euro 2016.

The Southampton full-back had treatment away from the main group, all of whom completed the session at Watford.

Bertrand will not be considered for selection for England's final warm-up match, against Portugal on Thursday night, but will travel with the squad to France.

"It is not a serious injury and we are pretty confident he will be fit for when we play Russia," said manager Roy Hodgson.

"It is an injury which will keep him out of tomorrow's game but it is not a long term concern at all."
