FC Twente recovered from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Willem II as both teams saw their fading European hopes take another hit.
Willem would have climbed above eighth-placed Twente with a victory and they looked on course to do just that when Jerson Cabral struck in the 19th and 23rd minutes to put the hosts in charge.
However, Twente pulled a goal back on the stroke of half-time through Hakim Ziyech and the 21-year-old midfielder levelled up the scores eight minutes after the break, giving the 2010 Eredivisie champions hope of a first league win in six games.
Neither side could break the 2-2 deadlock in the final half-hour, though, leaving Twente five points behind seventh-placed Heerenveen and the European berths, having now played a game more, while Willem remain a point further adrift.
